Ending homelessness in Australia

Every night more than 116,000 people in Australia are homeless, often hidden from view, as a result of many complex factors:

- 45% lack of housing

- 26% escaping family violence

- 12% money/income issues

- 8% relationship/family breakdowns

The consequences of homelessness can be detrimental to a person’s physical and mental health, social status, and often accompanied with significant economic costs to the community.
