Ending violence against women and children
Women and children are amongst the most vulnerable groups of the world. They face higher risks of being exposed to family violence (domestic violence, child abuse, and pet abuse), which has been heightened during the COVID-19 pandemic as victims may find themselves trapped in the home with a violent perpetrator.
